Funds for Desks Success
April, 2011
Again God was able to raise over $2700 to put enough new desks in the school so there would be enough seating for all the students! Again, THANK YOU to ALL who participated!
"Raise The Roof" was HUGE Success
February 27 - March 12, 2011
In just 14 days God was able to raise over $3500 to put a new roof on the two new classrooms that were needed for this new current school year! THANK YOU to ALL who participated!
First Sponsorship Weekend was Success
October 15-17, 2010
In our first Sponsorship drive at Liberty Church in Marietta, GA we were able to raise almost $2000 in monthly support for the next year. Funds came in the form of 32 Child sponsors, 28 Teacher sponsors and numerous one-time gifts! People gave generously from their hearts and God was honored! THANK YOU to ALL who participated and helped!
First Benefit Concert
July 30, 2010
In our first Benefit Concert we were able to raise $5000 in support for His Kids Orphanage, Bugadde Uganda. Funds were used to build two desperately needed classrooms for the school. We still need $6000 to put roofs on the classrooms before they will be complete.

News Items
Here is a brief update of what we have been able to accomplish this past year through financial and prayful support from all our friends and families...
Intercessory team started:
We have an amazing team of intercessors that pray for each child sponsor on
a regular basis, as well as special needs that arise. We started the year
with Barb Camp as the team leader and she did an amazing job of getting this
started. She moved this summer and left everything in great shape with our
new team leader- Kim Halliday. Thank you to both amazing women of God for
being incredible spirit led intercessors and leaders. If any of you would

March “Raise the Roof” Fundraiser:
Thank you to all who participated in the Raise the Roof fundraiser- we raised $ 3600 to complete the roof over classrooms that had been built in fall of 2010.
April Desk fundraiser:
Thank you for your generous gifts that allowed us to raise $ 2740 for desks to go into the new classrooms as well as give relief to the crowed desks in the other classrooms.
Liberty Church Picnic and Fundraiser in July:
Picnic/fundraiser went very well and Apostle Wilson spoke 2 weekends at all 7 services and had ministry time with several leaders as well. Over the course of the 2 weeks/weekends we saw 10 new active child sponsors come forward- Thank you amazing sponsors! We also spoke with many people who are praying about sponsoring.
Thank you Liberty Church for hosting Apostle Wilson and the many generous donations that were raised.
Benefit Concert with Broken Heart:
August found us celebrating Jesus with a Broken Heart Benefit reunion concert. Through this event we were able to raise $3200 for shoes for the children at His Kids Orphanage School. Thank you to all who came to enjoy Broken Heart and gave generously to these children.
September:
Ward & Nancy were able to visit His Kids Orphanage school and take donations of soccer balls, school supplies, and first-aid supplies to the school. We also had the privilege of seeing the new Children’s home being built and hearing new exciting plans for the orphanage school. Many of our wonderful sponsors wrote letters to their sponsored children and we had the honor of handing these out to the children. We know that these letters will be cherished.
October:
Christmas in October raised enough money for each child at the school to get an outfit for Christmas. Thank you for these generous gifts that allowed these precious children have an amazing end of school/Christmas party the beginning of December that included the children receiving their new shoes and clothes.
What an AMAZING year we have seen! God has done so much through your generous gifts to His precious children. We THANK each of you for your generosity and prayers. All in all we now have 45 children that have faithful sponsors of the 350 children and the orphanage school. So we are still desiring to gain more faithful sponsors.
